End User Licence Agreement
Version 1.0 · last updated 2026-10-17
AlphasWorth Suite, version 1.0. Licensor: AlphasWorth ("we", "us"). Contact: support@alphasworth.com.
By installing or using the software you agree to this agreement. If you do not agree, do not install it, and ask for a free trial or a refund as the trial policy describes.
1. What you are licensed
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to install and use the modules you bought (Wyckoff Indicators, NN Lab, Edge Finder, Alternative Data, News, NameSmith, GapSmith, or the Suite, which contains all of them) for your own trading and research, on up to two computers at a time, together with the MetaTrader 5 terminals on those computers that you list at activation.
The licence is for life. It includes every update and every future version we release of the products you bought, at no further charge; there are no paid upgrades.
2. Two computers at a time
A licence key is active on up to two computers at the same time, for example a research computer and a trading VPS that are both yours. Activating it on a third computer releases the one used least recently automatically, and you can move as often as you like. If you no longer have access to an old computer, you can reset the key yourself on our website. A released computer stops working at its next licence refresh. A licence file is valid for 3 days plus a 2-day grace period, and the updater refreshes it at logon and every 24 hours while the computer is online, so in practice the old computer stops within about a day; at the very worst (a computer that never goes online again) it stops 5 days after its last successful refresh. Using one key on more than two computers at once, or sharing a key or licence file with other people, is not allowed.
3. What you may not do
- Copy, publish, distribute, rent, lend, sell, sublicense or otherwise make the software available to anyone else.
- Modify, translate, decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer the software, or remove, bypass or tamper with its licence checks, except to the extent applicable law gives you that right and cannot be excluded.
- Use the software to build a competing product, or extract its blocks, models or data for use outside the licensed installation.
- Use the software unlawfully.
Strategies, models and settings that you create with the software belong to you, including after the licence ends.
4. Third-party software and data
The software works with StrategyQuant X and MetaTrader 5, which are separate products from separate companies. You need your own licence for them and you must follow their terms. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by StrategyQuant s.r.o. or MetaQuotes Ltd.
Alternative Data downloads public data from FRED (Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis), the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), and the CFTC. FRED and EIA each require a free API key that you register in your own name; you are responsible for keeping those keys private and for following those providers' terms. The CFTC source needs no key. News reads the economic calendar that your own MetaTrader 5 terminal provides. We do not sell or redistribute any of that data.
5. Licence checks and revocation
The software checks a signed licence file on your computer. The activation server is contacted when you activate, refresh, move or reset a licence, check for updates, download packages and free the seat when you uninstall. We may revoke a licence that was refunded, charged back, shared in breach of section 2, or obtained fraudulently. A revoked licence stops working at its next refresh.
6. No investment advice; risk
The software produces indicators, signals, strategies and statistical reports. None of it is investment advice, a recommendation or a promise of any result. Backtests and simulations are not indicative of future results. Trading leveraged instruments can lose more than the money you deposit. You alone are responsible for every trading decision and for validating any strategy before risking capital.
7. No warranty
The software is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we give no warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that any data source will remain available or accurate. Nothing in this agreement excludes a warranty or right that the law of your country does not allow to be excluded.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for trading losses, lost profits, lost data, or any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from the software or its use, even if we were told they were possible. Our total liability for any claim relating to the software is limited to the price you paid for the licence. Nothing in this agreement limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
9. Updates, support and changes
We provide updates and reasonable support by email at support@alphasworth.com. We may change or discontinue a data source integration if the provider changes or withdraws its service; we will say so in the release notes.
10. Ending the licence
You may stop using the software at any time and uninstall it. We may end your licence if you materially breach this agreement and do not fix the breach within 14 days of our written notice, or immediately for a breach of section 3. When a licence ends you must stop using the software and delete your copies.
11. General
This agreement, together with the terms of sale and the privacy policy, is the whole agreement between you and us about the software. If a part is unenforceable, the rest stays in force. We may assign this agreement with the business; you may not assign it without our written consent. It is governed by the laws of Quebec, Canada, and the courts of Quebec, Canada have jurisdiction, without removing any mandatory consumer protection or forum right you have where you live.
